Certified Nutritionist

Liv Bochenek, CNP

Liv became interested in the healing capabilities of nutrients and plants when she noticed a massive improvement in her ADHD symptoms from eating a nutrient-dense diet as a teenager. This eventually led to her deciding to study at the Institute of Holistic Nutrition, where she graduated with honours and received her status as a certified nutritional practitioner (CNP). While in nutrition school Liv was also teaching vinyasa yoga classes and meditation at Yoga Space Toronto.

During the pandemic she moved to the West Coast for a few years, where she worked alongside and learned so much from a variety of very talented holistic health practitioners. Her love and understanding of plant medicine really deepened during this time, as did her ability of working with people to help support conditions impacting hormones, digestion, skin, joints, ADHD and anxiety.

As a holistic nutritionist, she works with clients to get to the root of the causes of their symptoms and conditions. It’s really important to her to work with her clients in finding personalized methods that are adaptable and not another source of stress. Typically she helps her clients make shifts in diet, lifestyle and nutritional/herbal supplementation to provide symptomatic relief and help restore a sense of vitality to their health. Unless the client requests otherwise she typically doesn’t recommend a heavy supplementation protocol during the first few months of working together because she believes there are many other approaches that have a deeper impact and that are more cost-efficient.

Liv is currently working on becoming a certified intuitive eating counselor and should be completing this by the end of the year. Learning to become an intuitive eater has been so healing for Liv and she’s really passionate about helping others learn how to reconnect with their ability to eat intuitively.

Registered Massage Therapist

Stephanie Rogers, RMT

Hi, I’m Stephanie and I practice registered massage therapy. I am passionate about what I do because I see, first hand, how massage helps us to powerfully reconnect mind, heart and body. I love massage therapy’s versatility — it offers pain relief and healing for both acute and chronic injures but it also induces deep states of relaxation that activate the body’s innate healing systems. Massage can help us move through our day-to-day lives in a more fully present, embodied way and that is such a transformative tool.

I studied in Toronto at Sutherland-Chan School of Massage Therapy where I learned Swedish massage and a variety of techniques to treat joints and fascia including pin and stretch techniques (sometimes called ‘active release therapy’). Post graduation I’ve deepened my knowledge by studying craniosacral techniques at Toronto’s Cranial Therapy Centre and osteopathic techniques at the Southern Ontario College of Osteopathy. In addition to expanding my clinical knowledge, these courses have helped my hands to ‘listen’ more deeply to what your body might be trying to say.  My ongoing yoga and meditation practices bring home for me the importance of mindful breathing and I will often incorporate breathwork and guided visualizations into my treatments to help you manage pain or find deeper, more lasting releases.

I strive to create a safe and inclusive space and welcome all ages, body types and orientations.
